Porcelain Veneers

What are porcelain veneers?

Porcelain veneers are incredibly thin shells of porcelain that cover the visible surfaces of front teeth. Veneers are utilized to alter the shape and color of the teeth, and are custom designed for each patient to fit their individual goals.

beautiful veneers are the ones you don’t know exist.

Carmen had 2 composite veneers bonded to her lateral incisors in her 30’s to increase their size. The composite veneers were picking up stain at the edges, and Carmen was ready to replace them with porcelain so they would be more color stable over time.

Dr. Monette designed new shapes to match Carmen’s rounded central incisors, removed the bonding, and minimally prepped the teeth for porcelain veneers.

Carmen now has lateral incisors that mimic her natural teeth with their significant variations in color and beautiful shape!

Sage had a traumatic accident as a young girl, and had a crown placed on her central incisor that never had a great color match, irritated her tissue, and hit too high in her bite. Sage wanted more dominance of her two front teeth, and requested Dr. Monette give her some additional length and volume.

The old crown was replaced, and Sage’s other front tooth was given a no-preparation veneer, meaning that no underlying tooth structure was removed.
